Ming Map is a Four Pillars (BaZi, 八字) self-understanding app that computes your personal chart and readings from your date, time, and place of birth using classical Chinese methods. If something isn't working or you have a question, the fastest way to reach us is by email:

Frequently asked questions
How do I create a chart?
Open the app and enter your date of birth, exact time of birth, and place of birth. The time of birth matters — an accurate birth time produces a more accurate chart. If you don't know your exact time, the app still computes a chart, but some time-sensitive details (such as the Hour Pillar) may be less precise.
Is my birth information private?
Yes. Ming Map does not require an account and does not store your birth information on our servers after a reading is generated. Your saved profiles live on your own device. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
How do I save profiles for family or friends?
After generating a chart, use the save option to keep it on your device. You can re-open saved profiles at any time and compare charts with the Compatibility feature.
What does Ming Map Pro include?
Ming Map Pro unlocks additional features such as the AI BaZi Master chat, Compatibility reports, and deeper reading sections. The exact features are listed inside the app on the subscription screen at the time of purchase.
How do I manage, cancel, or restore my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not by Ming Map directly.
- Cancel: manage auto-renewal in your Apple ID settings (iOS) or Google Play account settings (Android). You keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
- Restore: if you reinstall the app or switch to a new device using the same Apple ID or Google account, tap "Restore Purchases" inside the app to recover your Pro access.
- Refunds: refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. Contact Apple Support or Google Play Support to request one.
The reading mentions AI commentary — is it accurate?
The classical chart calculations are deterministic. Some narrative sections are generated by a large-language model and are meant as illustrative, reflective starting material — not as fact, prediction, or professional advice. Ming Map is for self-understanding and entertainment only.
I found a bug or a wrong calculation — what do I do?
Please email us with your birth details (date, time, place) and a description of what looked wrong, plus a screenshot if you can. That lets us reproduce and fix the issue.
How do I delete my data?
On mobile, uninstall the app or clear its app data. On the web, clear your browser's site data for this site. This removes all locally stored profiles and cached results. See the Privacy Policy for details.
